Manager, GSMA Innovation Fund
Guriya is the Manager at GSMA Innovation Fund, based in Delhi. In this role, she facilitates collaborations with organizations across India to bridge the gender digital divide to improve women’s livelihoods, economic security, and resilience. Previously, Guriya was part of the Strategy, Planning & Management team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she supported investments in Gender Equality, Inclusive Financial Systems, Digital & Health Innovation, and State Systems & Policy. She has also worked with the Ministry of Women & Child Development and global not for profit, TechnoServe, on women’s economic empowerment initiatives. Guriya is a development and finance professional with 10 years of experience in philanthropy, government consulting, social development program implementation, and investment banking. She holds a master’s degree in Liberal Studies from Ashoka University and a B.Sc. in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
