About
Senior Director of Operations, Make A DifferenceMannat Anand is a social impact leader driving large-scale change in India’s non-profit sector through her leadership at Make A Difference (MAD), an organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable children and youth. Mannat began her full-time journey at MAD in 2015, leading the organization’s fundraising efforts from 2015 to 2021. During this time, she built robust partnerships, diversified revenue streams, and strengthened the organization’s financial foundation. In 2022, she transitioned into an organizational leadership role, guiding MAD through its growth stage—from 2,500 to over 7,400 children and youth reached, supported by 2,000 volunteers, 250 fellows, and 25 community organizers across India. Her leadership focuses on scaling impact through systems thinking, decentralization, and tech-driven innovation—designing tools, playbooks, and frameworks that enhance operational efficiency, data use, and storytelling. Mannat is also reimagining community organizing to empower young leaders to design and lead local solutions within their own communities. In 2024, Mannat was selected for the Motwani Jadeja Impact Fellowship, representing Make A Difference and India at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Her work reflects a deep commitment to building sustainable, community-led ecosystems that advance equity, opportunity, and dignity for children and youth across India.
