Child Protection Technical expert, Aide et ActionNupur Pande is a Child Protection and Policy Specialist with over two decades of experience advancing child rights and care reform in India. She currently serves as Child Protection Consultant and Lead for the National Care Leavers Network (NCLN) at Aide et Action, where she leads the national Aftercare and Care Reform portfolio across 15 states, supporting more than 4,000 care-experienced young people. Her work includes pioneering India’s first structured Mental Health Programme for Care Leavers, strengthening state care systems, and facilitating youth-driven platforms such as State Care Leavers Associations. Over the course of her career, Nupur has worked with leading national and international organisations including UNICEF, Save the Children UK, Oxfam GB, and CRY, contributing to policy advocacy, capacity building, and system strengthening in child protection. She also supports state governments—most recently Assam—in developing alternate care strategies and aftercare action plans. At the Mentoring Summit, Nupur will speak on building safe, empowering ecosystems for care-experienced youth and share insights from the formation and growth of the National Care Leavers Network.
