Director - SHEDO
Ritesh Gohiya is a Post Graduate in social work with over last 15 year of experience at the intersection of music, community development and social transformation. As a music composer, writer, folk singer and audio engineer, Ritesh has creatively merged art with social development, using music as a tool for dialogue, youth centric development, empowerment, and awareness among marginalized communities including rural tribal youth and artist. As Director of SHEDO, he leads programs that promote meaningful value-based music and creative economy initiatives through art-based spaces. Also founder of Folk recording studio and associated with several national-state youth collective and art collectives. In 2025, he was honoured with the ORA Award and the Goonj Junoon Award for his contributions to social change through art.
