Yasmin transitioned to the social sector after an eighteen year corporate career and has been in leadership roles over the last 12 years at SOS Children’s Villages and Save The Children before taking on the role of Head of Development at British Asian Trust. In her previous roles, she drove strategy, fundraising, marketing, and communication, enhancing governance and policies. Leading innovation and change management in challenging environments, she has mentored leaders and fundraising teams, emphasizing an ethical and transparent approach to ambitious goals. At the British Asian Trust she is responsible for building high value partnerships for fulfilling the organisational ambition of tackling poverty, inequality and injustice.
